History of The CF Education Workshops
The CF Parent Education group was co-founded by Jennifer and Timothy Webber, recipients of a CF Foundation "Community Impact Grant." Parents of two daughters with CF, and having themselves benefited from material shared by other parents of children with CF, Jennifer and Timothy wanted to help others navigate CF by providing 'continuing education' workshops to those impacted by the disease. Held bimonthly in the Triangle Area of North Carolina since December of 2016, these CF workshops have varied in topic, from college to current CF research to nutrition. For those unable to commute to the Triangle Area, videoconferencing is provided at the meetings when the venue permits. After two years of grant funding, this project is generously supported by a corporate sponsor, Impact Pharma, who hosts our meetings.
